And doesn't it make you appreciate the height of those electricity pylons? :?
I have nothing to say and I'm going to say it.

[quote="SoupDragon"]Re Wangi photos of Wyoming. I was in touch with my cousin (ex Potobello lass) who's livng in Texas at the moment and suggested they look at the photos as I knew her hubby had been in Wyoming in the snow. Here's part of her reply..
C tells me that the red things in the Wyoming picture are the bags that the helicopter drops and the crew picks them up and places them in position. So it’s the “drop zoneâ€

Know it's one of the oil companies. They were living up near Aberdeen and now in Texas but he's back up in Wyoming doing some, as put in an email by my coz," seismic stuff courtesy of Wangis little yellow boxes"

You may end up getting "spladooshed" out there!

Your fame has spread.! :D

I used to look at the Lee Kindness gallery long, long before posting on POL and had told coz of the site. Took me a wee while to make the link with Wangi.

You do travel to some exotic places! And here's me thinking a trip to Fisherow was an adventure!

Here are some interesting pictures. Some of them are quite sad though.

"Nearby, fireworks exploded as part of Australia Day celebrations.
On the far right, lightning from a thunderstorm flashed in the distance.
Near the image center, though, seen through clouds, was the most unusual sight of all: Comet McNaught. "

That's beautiful. I'm wondering if I can get away with showing that shot to folk and pretending that it's a view from Porty beach..

They just go through an awkward phase as hormones and spots appear.

Aww Muuuummmm! Huff, grumpf

It passes.

One day I will be forgiven for trying to hug Baby Dragon goodbye as she went on a Go 4 it trip

I'll never be forgiven for hiding Epykitten the Horrible's toy rabbit in his bag when he went to school camp

As for Mum's hugging you - my Aunty still tries to wipe my face with a hanky on the odd occasion  . And she apologised last year for forgetting to get me an Easter egg - I'm 30 15
Enough of your nonsense - get back to the Play Pen!

Clanger 1 was in New York

Somethings were smaller than you'd think!
Image

the wonderful electrics in her room
Image

Beautiful clean sheets on the bed!
Image

The wonderful " hotel" room. The pipe on the left was so hot she burnt her fingers. At least it gave some warmth as there was only a blanket on the bed.
Image

They had booked through Going Places and were supposed to be staying in Columbus appartments. They thought it was to be a hotel not hostel/hostile! When they got there they were redirected to their "sister" establishment The Continental on 95th/ West.
There were no fire instructions/marked exits, the lift doors were open onto and empty shaft, the rooms were dirty, little bedding.
Waiting to see what going places say about it.
She still had a great time in NY

Remember the windsocks? I was browsing through my old photos and came across this:

Image

It needed a bit of Photoshopping, but I hope it captures a mood. Pity the windsocks couldn't have been made permanent.
I don't believe in Beatles.
