We went to the Kings Wark- £15 fixed price for 3 courses and it was excellent. Seafood Chowder, Salmon, the awesome Chips then Apple and Pear crumble, brilliant service a real homely feel. Been there many times and it is yet to disappoint.
Had the old guys from the rugby club do at Whigams, think its the 4th Year in a row and it was also pretty good.

Didn't go to the whole staff lunch because of the timing of it. Did have a smaller dept. get together at a colleague's house. I took the car and wasn't drinking as there was work the next day. Probably says it all really.

We avoided fires by going to La Garrigue in Jeffrey Street last Wednesday then on to the Canons' Gait (formerly the Blue Blanket for the more mature in years among us!).
The grub at La Garrigue was very good indeed.
