Ceilidhs?
Hello all. I was just wondering if anybody knew of any ceilidhs taking place around Hogmanay? Besides the big one in town on the 30th that is... I'm far too wimpish to stay outside for four hours in the middle of winter! I've a couple of friends coming to stay - an English gent and an American lady - who I took to a ceilidh last time they were up. They loved it and have been dropping hints about getting to another but I can't find details of an (indoors) one anywhere. All suggestions welcome, thanks!
Half of them are on fire, half of them are flooding...

There seem to be quite a few at:

but you'll have to go through and pick out the ceilidhs from the other gigs.

Cannot find what I'm looking for (typical!), but these might help or link you to other useful sites!

Hogmanay in Porty
Anyone got any Porty plans for Hogmanay this year? I remember strolling about the beach last year, watching bonfires on the same night the city centre celebrations got called off.

Hi,
I am not sure if you still wanted details of Ceilidhs in Edinburgh. My mum is organising one for the Musselburgh and Midlothian Ramblers Charity but anyone is welcome not just ramblers!!! It is on Friday 14th December at Woodburn Miners Club in Dalkeith and starts at 7.30pm. The tickets are £10 (price includes food) and the money goes to the Ramblers Association.
If you are interested please PM me.
Thanks
