Damn! Didn't know Sonic was on, and I'm away that night - you are in for a treat - seen him loads of times, and saw the Spacemen loads of times too. Always brilliant.

Going to see the Roky Erikson film, 'You're Gonna Miss Me', on thursday night, and Rose McDowall on friday night (although that might not be part of Triptych.)

Did anyone else go to the Big Daddy Kane and Biz Markie gig at the Liquid Rooms on Thursday?

What a total let down. BDK was a no show and Biz Markie was only on stage for around 25 minutes. He shouts down the mic "Have you had enough Edinburgh? Cos I have..." He left the stage pretty sharpish after that and left us all standing there shouting at the poor MC who had come on stage with Richy Rufftone.

What a lot of rubbish.

I'm looking forward to Magnetophone tonight although I hope nobody sings. I can just about handle guitars if it's instrumental.

Or if they do sing, it's ok if I can't understand the lyrics or they are so lysergic as to be meaningless.

Or politics - politics is ok.

Yeah. Bring on the psychedelics. Will report back.

awesome. wasn't expecting anything like that and it was all down to the mighty teutons - aka Schenider TM. I'm glad they were there because Magnetophone sucked.

Once the 4 members of Schenider TM took stage we already knew their faces because, charmingly, each of them had done exactly half an hour on the merchandise stall during the support bands' sets.

SchneiderTM kicked anything else I've seen recently out of the (T in the) park. I've not heard any of their studio albums, but they kicked it live.
