Best Places to go on Holiday

Post by Zargonian » 22 Mar 2006, 10:03

It's that time of year again for me, holiday time.
Just thinking about where to go and what's the best places I reckon I've been to.

Anyone had nice holidays, and where did they go?
"So spin that wheel, cut that pack!
And roll those loaded dice
Bring on the dancing girls,
And put the champagne on ice"

Yes, lots.

Some with friends, some with Mrs Dadaist.

Looking forward now to family holidays.

I wish I'd had a digital camera 15 years ago!

For me, the nicest kind of holiday is where you combine a city break with a beach/relaxing holiday - spending some time in both lets you see 2 different places and have both kinds of holiday experience all on the one trip.

I've had as good times in the Trossachs as in the Maldives.

If you fancy staying on our shores, Cornwall is the place to go... St Ives makes a good base to stay! 8)

I enjoyed Lands End, go-karting, Satalites, the beachs, St Ives, Newquay, Tinagal Castle, Falmouth, St. Just, Tin mines, Lizard Point, Truro, St Austell to name a few places there.

Cornwall - nice one. We stayed in Looe a few years back - although we must have been more sedentary than you because my favourite memories are of cream teas and fried fish!

Went on some nice walks - Looe to Polperro.

One of my favourite musicians is Cornish - Aphex Twin.

I forgot about Looe, and Mousehole. Sennan Cove too, nice walk along the cliff tops!

Cream teas, and cornish pasties... Mmmm
