Same girl, different album. This one is a peach of a spoken word piece called "The Ugly One With The Jewels".

Big Science.
I am listening to S.F. Sorrow by The Pretty Things, a psychedelic masterpiece from 1968.

Nay lad. That was The Merseys, or so google tells me. I always thought it was The Tremeloes.
Now I am listening to the new Tracey Thorn album.

Heard a track on Colin Murray last night by Mr Hopkinson's Computer. It was a computer's version of Fake Plastic Trees by Radioohead. Murray described it as a Marmite track and I fell on the side of liking it.
The one-time futuristic thoughts of attending a concert to watch a computer may not be too far away.

Bad Moon On The Rise by Hayseed Dixies from the album "you wanna see something really scary"
The best version of Bad Moon has to be the Battlefield Band's, when the bagpipes come in it makes me want to do a wee jig.

"Voices in the Sky" - Moody Blues - esp the track that for years (if not decades!!) I thought was "
Knights in White Satin" and had visions of a chappie draped in white on a horse. Such a sweet innocent, me!

When I phoned First Bus on the secret number the polis gave me, I said my name and he said "I have in my hand (

) and the driver and I are counting the money!" A passenger handed it in.

I'm pleased to say that nearly every time I lose things I get them back - mobile twice, purse several times, shopping twice!! I had a bad spate of it after my mum died three years ago.
Anyway, today's trip to Dalkeith was handy as Plug and I fancied a walk so we went on to Dalkeith Country Park. They wee birdies don't half make a racket ... but hide so you can't spot them. The wee flowers were very pretty.
