All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt!

This is my baby Sly,(sorry Marya) He hatched on 29/09/95 and I bought him on 12/03/96. He's ever so gentle and good natured and I ove him to bits.
He's perfect for me (no fur, no allergies) and he's so easy to look after.
He was only a few inches long when I got him and now he's 5 feet long. I don't know what I'd do if anything happened to him. I've lost animals in the past (dogs, rabbit, gerbils, rats, birds. (pre-allergy)) and it's so upsetting to say the least.

Aww the cats are SO cute. I miss my cat all the time. He died at 21 years the day before 9/11 attack. He'd been such a character and part of our lives that we felt we could never replace him, but time heals and we were a thinking of getting another cat when we discovered Clanger #2 is allergic??? So the hospital tests say.
In our time we've also had a part share in a dog and full time -mice, crickets, stick insects. fish and my fave(apart from my cat ), rats. Oh and visiting tadpole/ froglettes including a wounded frog found on the beach! never did figure out how it got there.

Rats make great pets!!!

I used to work in a small animal house( mice, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs and rabbits) and the rats were the best! Have also had them as pets and they're so intelligent, it's such a pity that they only live for a few years!!

And they tend to be prone to skin growths as they get older

Why be scared????

our house guest. Wemyss the cat is staying with us while her owner is in hospital. She's bonkers and very sweet.
We don't know how old she is (she's very young and tiny) or anything else really. But she seems to have taken to us.

no new house yet. Still trying to sell one in Leith and then one in King's Rd. Anyone want to buy in Leith and sell up in Porty? We'll definitely need a garden now we have a (temporary) kitten.
And I have an Oompah Loompah in my tummy, due 10 April.
I've been busy playing with Wemyss the cat and worrying about scans/bloods/selling houses/buying houses/will the kitten get to stay?
worry, worry, worry

I've obviously reached a new phase, I've decided to stop worrying

Really??? I've always wanted an Oompah Loompah. Would you consider selling it when it arrives???
Older ones are a bit more expensive, so you could do it on the cheap, couldn't you??
