While we wait patiently for the report on the MP extravaganza, I have to say I was really impressed with the Dome last night. There were only two parties there, keeping it the perfect size, and the food was great, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere really good. Had a grand time.
The only thing not so good was the DJ, who, when asked if we could have some Christmas music on while we ate our dinner (instead of Stars on 45 (I kid you not) and a LOT of Neil Diamond), replied "Oh, no, people are sick of Christmas music." When it was pointed out to him we were not sick of it and were after all there for a Christmas party, he grudgingly succumbed, and so just as they served our steaming plates of tender turkey, succulent sirloin or whatever, he started playing....Band Aid.

Snide so and so. And one of his few discernible comments while we were dancing was that we looked like we were in training to be lapdancers.

What a way to win over your audience.
Bellybabe...or should that be Lapbabe
