It must be a genetic thing, singing......one of the hellish singers was my Aunty

She has actually always been a hellish singer. Usually her Party Piece is "This is a lovely way to spend an evening..." so think yourself lucky!

Yep get your coat on and pop round to Aunty Mary! She'll give you a quick rendition

My other Aunty was also in the background looking suitably embarrassed by her 'big' sister's singing. I do have to point out however that she was NOT the one singing "Portabelly". My father in law is in the video as well, starring as the bloke holding up the bottles (a non singing part).

Now, that bloke was good. I remember that bit particularly.
The holding up of the bottles was a definite high point.

Sunday Evening and I have 3 sessions in the gym under my belt (relatively light I must admit) and no wine since the 2nd Jan. Can't say I feel too different but I am sure my heart will be pleased.

How did you get on to Aunties singing???? that gave me palpitations. There was I going to suggest something to you all to help with motivation for walking and then WHAM AUNTIE MARY.
Well I've counted to 10 and had a double Bacardi so ...... my suggestion was if one misses ones dog borrow one just for the walk and you'll walk further than you intended orrrr you can push a pram.....DONT PANIC you dont have to have anything IN the pram but you can walk miles pushing a pram. If you think those ideas suck then blame AUNTIE MARY oh wheres that Bacardi
Stick to what you know then you'll never become unstuck

Just completed 45 minutes of cycling at the gym using up 454 Calories of Energy. At this rate I should be a respectable weight by 2007.

Crikey and you're still counting

How do you remember that date
You must have just been a slip of a boy way back then Porty
Come on tell us how old you were then

How old would you be, if you didn't know how old you are?

Well, I made it to a Body Pump class earlier tonight. I took it pretty easy and still found it terribly tough going. I'll be sore tomorrow for sure.
Booked in for next Monday and Tuesday and depending on the weather tomorrow night, I may go up for a swim.
Not venturing out if it's still like this though. It's fierce out there.

Yes, I was back to Balance this morning and it's amazing the difference three or four weeks makes! I too will be sore tomorrow so I'll send sympathetic vibes your way if you send some my way

. I was hoping to swim tomorrow but won't have time, but i will be back to balance on Thursday...possibly still stiff from today!

Very sore today after my class last night, but determined to keep going.
I've never tried a Body Balance class, BB. I think I might check out the classes at the Pool and give one a try. It would certainly be handier than going up to the Kings Manor.
