Aw. poor rats! My fave animals, named the last two after Madness, Suggs and Non Suggs. Died after a few years tho'
Mind you everything gotta eat something.
My sis had a cat that hated the local magpies. One for sorrow she found dead in the kitchen next to the cat flap. Oh joy, several days later when she found out what the smell under her bed meant!

Funny how allergies crop up. We had a cat for years and didn't know eldest boy was allergic 'til he was tested at hospital clinic. Strangley enough he wasn't wheezing but his hearing had dulled, consultant said it was the fluid in the tubes in his ears thickening so a course of tablets and nasal spray sorted that out. He's also allergic to grass, some pollen, feathers but not dogs. They didn't test for rats
