That's the challenge! It's like a jigsaw, you piece together all the info gleaned from posts, put it all together..... and approach a total stranger in the street

You bag someone by spladooshing them!!!!??? :?

Ask Portly, though, as I'm sure he was, as usual, to blame for the latter term!

Err...think Porty came up with the idea that if you want to bag someone and you want to do it with the minimum of embarrassment POLers should have a special code word that one could whisper in one's victim's ear. He suggested "Spladoosh!" as that, of course, isn't embarrassing at all

Mimpty bagged me by saying "Sandra" when I met her in the street - worked a treat I replied "Mimpty" and we chatted for a while.

How do I wish I hadn't used my real name when I registered on POL . I wanted some info re where I live, I didn't realise you should register under an alias. Ah well.

Have met amazing people on POL! :D

You're not the only one without an alias Sandra - if I'd used one I'd never have remembered what it was!

Huh. Well, I bumped into Robin!...when he...er...knocked on my door. Great bagging opportunity. Except that I felt very shy and a bit silly. :?

But I was wearing my POL t-shirt, honestly. In fact I never changed out of pyjamas all day.

International bagging now...I can't even cope when it's on my own doorstep!

I am thrilled to report that I was spladooshed today! There I was, strolling along the prom, looking for my dog who spent the night on remand at the cat and dog home, when a gentleman sidled up to me and said "Consider yourself spladooshed!".

I have to say, it was a thrilling moment.

Nice to meet you, Sicker.
:salute:

So Sicker can still thrill the ladies can he :?: :D

Mrs S (she doesn't like being called Mrs Sicker) was most surprised to hear that :!:

When we descend upon you next Friday we will all be lining up for one of your "thrills", hope you can compete with the Ladyboys  You've certainly got the legs for it.

While walking Freddie this morning I passed a young Mum who dropped her keys on the ground. As I picked them up and handed them back I looked at the baby she was carrying and thought "I know that pretty wee face".................................I'm quite sure it was Beachbabe and Neodadaist. I could have been wrong but if not then I did a silent "spladoosh".

This thread's been gone a while but...........

On Saturday I was spladooshed . Although the man in question had had quite a bit of help he was brave enough to shout out my name in a fairly busy pub. Think his innocent bystander friend was a bit confused when he shouted "Epykat" and I shouted "Zargonian" and then we proceeded to have a wee conversation about "Novastar". Nice to meet you Zargonian and I can honestly say I've never previously clapped eyes on you ever

I'm worried now.

I've met Epykat's man (I think I played Football with him and your son) but never had the pleasure of meeting you I'm afraid. If you're down the Forester's on a Friday after 9pm I'm usually there (although not this week - I'm back home for Easter).
