I've been and paid my dues. Only slightly embarrassing when he commented on which name I would like to give and gave me that " " sort of look....

Maybe we should stick to non-contentious issues between now and 4 December.

Maybe a food fight will break out and then, once you've all been ejected from the Dalriada, you can have a PoL pagger on the Prom. It'll be great!

Get Wangi to take some photos please.

I can't get to the Dalriada by tonight...
Does this mean I am excused? Oops, I mean...er...does this mean I am sadly going to be rejected as an attendee?
Are they open tomorrow lunch time - might be able to pop in on my way to or from physio -?

Been to pay our deposits - Bearcub sent me in but I just had to say our real names.

And I've just been to pay mine. So far, 8 people have paid, which still leaves quite a few who haven't so please do so ASAP.

As Bellybabe couldn't get along tonight I handed in her deposit as well. I gave Alison my name, which she wrote down.

"And I'm paying for Paula as well" I added.

She wrote down 'Paula' and dittoed the 'Jefferson'.

"Erm, no..it's not Jefferson", I offered.

So, now she's thinking that we're not married. I'm thinking that I need to explain that it's not like that, it's not a dccairns scenario here, we don't have a relationship, well apart from an online relationship, well..it's a bit more than that obviously - we're friends, but not in that way, and in any case...

Meanwhile, she's thinking that she has already obviously made a faux pas and has no desire to request further information about the nature of our relationship. She scores out the ditto and we move smoothly on.

Social ettiquette - it's a minefield!

Iv'e not been yet and I'm not going tonight.

However, I just noticed the following: POL conduct a Poll to decide; which is the most popular date for the event to occur? Does the date that gets almost twice the number of votes of the other dates put together win? No, of course not. 8) 8)

Nah, I think you'll find that it was much closer than that. And remember that Marya voted for the wrong date by mistake, so in fact the 4th was the most popular!

Saw Check out Chick at the check-out yesterday evening, and she reminded me of the dinner, but HAVE to go home, NOW!!!!!! Will sort myself out (that'll be a first!) .........
