Activities/groups for new baby and parents

Post by emmal » 02 Jun 2013, 20:44

Hi

Just wondering what is available locally in terms of groups and activities for a new baby and his mum and dad.

Because of the GP surgery we are with the info from the health visitor was all based around Leith rather than Porty.

Thanks

Emma

Hi Emma, the health visitors at the local Portobello and Milton surgeries have a wee sheet they hand out - i'm sure they'd give you a copy if you popped in and asked.

My maystays would be rhymetime at the library (two sessions Wednesday morning and 11:30 Saturday); play group on Friday mornings at St Philips Joppa; toy library (playgroup) Monday mornings upstairs at the library; Mrs Mash (signing & stories) 10:30 Monday at Skylark. But there's a lot more!

I think there was something related to this earlier in the week at the new East Neighbourhood place up in Craigmillar - will jog the memory!
