She then called the police who asked whether there was a handrail at the door, which there is......they advised that these scum look for handrails, ramps, other assistance mechanisms that tend to be put in for the elderly or infirm and target those doors - how sick is that. Pass this on to anyone you know who has a handrail or similar at their door or is likely to be targeted by such callers.
If PPAG have some cash left over after the court case they could pay someone to install a ramp and handrail at Seans house. Would be a clever "hit" if the scum got violent. And what a to go for old Sean. There would be a planning application he knew nothing about and it ultimately led to his demise. Only potential flaw might be when the application came before the objection squad.

There's the bare bones of a hit programme in there somewhere though.
You could be onto a winner.

Instead of Made in Chelsea or TOWIS we could have our very own version for Porty telly or the new Edin Telly -
CAGOTT - Community Activists Go OTT

Bob could film it, Avril and I could wind up Sean into a his rant mode and you could all let loose and be filmed huffing and puffing, staring and not speaking, on the MUGA with Rosefield Residents Association, PPAG, PCATS, POD, PONGS, PEDAL, PRowers, PDads, PFARTS, PFANNYS and god knows how many other Ps there are in Porty all cheering it on. TOWIS meets Wicca Man springs to mind.

If we got a grant we could maybe write out the decision in the Viridor case in 40' high flashing neon, and then film you to see if a glimpse of understanding passes across your eyes.

Worth a try at least, surely?

You should have a stand up show on the Fringe with that fast wit and interesting repartee.
We are not going to agree on many things it seems.
You know you'll be a lot happier when you accept that.

Happier? Unlikely.

I'm having plenty of amusement as it is.

I've not been on TalkPorty longso don't know if this is common, but I think it's a shame that what I posted as a serious topic has turned into a slanging match.

Probably why Wangi split the thread where he did.
