Anyone know where all the seals are this year?

One came pretty close in the shallows of the beach in June, but have only had one or two sightings since.

The past few years they have been almost daily visitors.

I think they have been scared off by all the drunken yobs we have to cope with here.

Seals on Porty beach?! News to me! Mind you, couldn't tell you the last time I was on the Promenade - probably about eighteen months ago at least.

When I first moved here, there was a sole seal who used to bob up just offshore, along at Morton Street, Joppa, and swim alongside as I walked to the bus-stop. He was there for months. And although that was ten years ago, I did see one just off Bath Street only this summer, again, while I was on my way to work.
