Caravans at Scottish Power Site

Post by westbank » 26 Dec 2007, 18:36

Anybody notice that the scottish power site at fishwives causeway is full of caravans, they are putting them in place as i send this, is it travellers or being used as storage. Did not notice them this afternoon but just came home and looked out the window and their they are. :?: :?: :?:

I passed about half an hour ago, and some had lights on, so it might be travellers. Anyone seen anything about it at all? Thought another funfair may have been about to appear from nowhere, like before !

Yesterday I saw a funfair vehicle turn into the Causeway so perhaps you're right, PQ! Of course, it could have been just passing through.............!

Hazard a guess that it could be caravans belong to the staff from the funfair which is being set up in town as part of the Hogmanay celebrations?

One could consider the possibility of simply asking someone living in the caravans the purpose of the visit.

They will either be polite and tell you the answer, or tell you to Bog off and mind your own business, either way, no harm in asking!
