That's a rubbish guess.
I think it's Gore Glen near Gorebridge.
Am I right?

Gore Glen is amazing. We used to go there every Sunday when we had our faithful four legged friend. It was his favourite place. When we knew his end was near we decided that's where he should be buried when the inevitable happened.
Couldn't get permission from Midlothian but the owner of Arniston Estate who has all the land surrounding the Glen, and has a multitude of dogs of all shapes and sizes herself, kindly gave us permission to bury him overlooking the Glen, just above his favourite swimming spot, in the woods. I like to think he is now running around his favourite place in spirit, chasing smells and jumping in the water.
Go back to his grave every year on his anniversary but the only problem is we haven't been able to walk through the Glen since.

Nice pics, Poppy but do you always go off and take pictures of the bushes at the weddings you attend?

Re: Last pic - don't they dress up for weddings wherever this was? Folk in foreground look a bit under-dressed to me.

Hi Bob, your photograph is absolutely divive. It looks very similiar to the outside of a chapel I visited months ago. Does your chapel have Tiffany stained-glass windows inside of it? The chapel I was in had sixteen stained-glass memorial panes that were signed by Tiffany or his studio. I may attempt to put some photographs that I took of those up.
I've never taken photographs and placed them on the Internet though I think I will try before the end of next week. They are incrediable since I was able to catch the light just at the right time of day even though the outside of the building was boarded up.

It was a really great day- beautiful bride, handsome groom, lovely flowers (from Portobello's very own Demi), good food & wine, excellent speeches!!
The King's Manor did the young (haha) couple proud.

I don't suppose you had time for a quick sqizz at the King's Manor spa? I was wondering if it was good enough for a relaxing day's pampering...
