I had a lovely PM from ECM, quite out of the blue, it was great to hear from her and she is doing well. Just thought you'd like to know!

Ah well, we could have had a few folk going there for a bit.Marya wrote:Mate of Marya wrote:Did you say GYM?
Very impressed Marya.Err........ OK, have to confess. It was the gym of PHS where we were both dropping off our respective offspring for a class.
Anyway, what you up to today? Wanna go shoot some sick hoops or what?
I don't know about you but I haven't been spending all these hours of watching the young people playing basketball without picking up some mean moves myself.
Eh?Poppy wrote:Don't you mean the young men, eh?? And I bet you weren't watching them to 'pick up the moves'ecm wrote:watching the young people playing basketball![]()

You've gone wrong in your mind-tank again, haven't you?
We're talking little kiddiewinks here.
You're a sick puppy, Poppy.
There are some fine fellows in the City Kings Senior outfit however.
Hey ecm - lovely to see you again.
I used to play a game on the BBC Micro called "Elite" - it was a space trading/combat game - and in your spaceship was a really cool thing called "ECM" - Electronic Counter-Measures - which blew up missiles people fired at you.
It made a cool noise as well when you activated it, if I remember correctly.

Nice to be here again, not that I've been away really. I've been lurking in the shadows.Dadaist wrote:Hey ecm - lovely to see you again.

Hello ecm - you won't know me, but welcome to the forum and it's nice to meet you all the same. Are you an American?
Thank you kindly for your welcome, sir and Yes, sir, I am an American. But only for today, for today is National Gum Drop Day in the USA.
Sorry ecm, didn't catch up with this until it was too late. I've been spending today slowly recovering from the excesses of Valentine's Day. And before there's an avalanche of lascivious comments I am referring to my wine consumption last night.ecm wrote:[

Just as well I didn't have to work today.

Thank you all. You've brought a moistness to my eyes and for the rest of the day my world will be in soft focus.
Running away to join the circus seemed such a good idea last year.
Not to worry I'll be back here from time to time and although I'm no longer resident in Porty I can look down on you all from up high, eh, well, Willowbrae actually.
I get a cracking view of the Forth from up here on top of the hill so will give you advance warning of any approaching enemy vessels, killer whales, invading Fifelanders and the like.
I am also available for traffic updates for the Portobello and Seafield Roads. I haven't been a chum of Poppy's for this long without picking up some top surveillance tips.

OOOH! That feels good.

Hello dear, I haven't missed you quite as much as I have some of the others on here. That's cos I have seen you strut your stuff on occasion on the tennis courts near my house.Porty wrote:xxxxecm wrote:OOOH! That feels good too!Pal of Porty wrote:xxx![]()
I simply have to out do him. Welcome back ECM I have missed you.
You're quite handy with a racket, ain't ya?
I shall have to bugger off more often in future - all this attention is just lovely!
Thank you all for your comments but enough is enough and I now invite you all to kill this thread off by saying something really nasty about me instead.
A bottle of wine (similar to the stuff that Dada never actually gets around to giving out as a prize) is on offer to the insult that offends/makes me laugh the most.
Bring it on.
