I haven't even got it yet, but 26 years after its original vinyl release one of my favourite albums of all time has finally been re-released on CD (plus bonus tracks) and I'm about as excited as an excited person can be.

Just not long back from Viktoria Tolstoy's gig at the Queens Hall. She was brilliant. Missed her gig at the Jazz place which burnt down on the Bridges three years ago and kicked myself since, and tonight made amends.

She's gorgeous and sounds just as good - check out the Swedish jazz sensation at www.viktoriatolstoy.com

Highly recommended! :D

I did see that. It was very poignant. He did live long enough to see the baby, I seem to remember.
Some of his early albums are to be released on CD for the first time next month. I shall be buying me a couple or three.

It's on in the background. There's nothing like it for boosting moral superiority! Y'know , you squabble with the kids, wonder about life , watch the show and think " well we're not as bad as THAT!"
