New Year's Resolutions
New Year's Resolutions
Does anyone make any New Year's Resolutions?
Mine are always the same and I always break them within a week or two.
1. Lose Weight
2. Go to the gym/exercise 3 times a week
3. Grow my finger nails
Anyone got any tips for me as to keeping them?

Spinning along!
Thought I'd put my feet up and watch daytime tv whilst eating chocolates but best laid schemes and all that! Got the flowery shoes on and tidied up the plastic bags blown into the green, also a couple of bottles flung in there and some dirty so and so had used the back stair as a toilet
Saw him nipping over the back wall, if I see him again I'll rub his nose in it.
Not made any soup since the start of the year, getting withdrawal symptoms. Fancy some French onion.

That's the revolution started. All the Clangers were in at the same time and had started to squabble worse than any Big Brother house, so gave them all jobs to do.
You do the vacuuming, You get the lights and tree down, You get the cards down, You pack up the tinsel and baubles. Then you can tidy your rooms!
HAHAHA the power
There were some mutterings about Stalin but a shake of an ice tray and they got the Trotsky allusion.
Roll on next week when the younger two have school, eldest starts college etc. Well, Baby Dragon won't be back at her school as she's doing a work placement at a local primary starting Monday

I got a new year's resolution thing from boots - a guide to making a resolution and sticking to it.
My change one thing pledge is.......
lose weight (but still drink wine at the weekend
)
If my work colleague (who is male) can do the drop a jean size diet
- 2 bowls of special K and one proper meal then I can lose weight.
(but he is starving all the time
)

You're not wrong there, it really will change the way you look at things... I managed to keep it up for 1 1/2 to 2 years! Best of luck! If anyones interested look at blipfoto.com- its worth a look, and changes the way you look at things around you.
