new year's day run

Anybody know anything about running along the prom on Jan 1st? A friend said she thought there was a semi-organised run, but no idea where it starts, how long and what time etc.... Would love to do this run but NEED help!

After the New Year celebrations tonight, I'd imagine most people would love to run, but would need help even standing by noon tomorrow.

According to The Portobello runners site Sophska the fun run is at 11.00 am and the serious runners do their stuff at 11.30 am on 1/1/07. There's a number and email adress on there which might get you more info.
