Trolls

I always thought people were getting it wrong when I heard the expression "trolling the net". I thought it should have been "trawling the net" ... as in what fishing vessels do.

Shows you how ignorant I am, doesn't it?

It's only when I googled that expression with the "troll" spelling I uncovered this ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_troll ...

Cleo - your and my behaviour could be interpreted by some as trolling!

Dr. Geoff/Hiboz/McGachie is in a different league unfortunately - he's one of the nastier ones.

Yeah, I've seen a few nasty sites and sworn off them. My mother would insist the perpetrators have their mouths washed out with carbolic soap and water. I just don't understand anyone's need to be offensive. They're sad people really.
