Truly weird co-incidence
Truly weird co-incidence
I've worked out an utterly strange co-incidence revolving around this board.
It turns out that I knew / worked with one of our regular posters.
Not only that, I very briefly owned their house.
The question is - should I
1) not tell even that person just to annoy them and you all
2) tell them but not you so as to have a chuckle with them at the weirdness whilst still respecting their privacy
3) sing like a canary
What will be really interesting is the difference between the response of the person (who will probably post in this thread) to the above 3 choices when they find out it's actually them.....
Bob - don't worry, I won't post any personal info without prior consent from them if it's 2. or 3.

I'm glad you mentioned this, because I think there is a worrying trend here. Lately, I have found that fewer and fewer threads are actually making any sort of sense. I think we are losing our collective mind.
As far as I can gather, it's not me. Shred my diaries, I wasn't even in the country at the time etc. But then I would say that, wouldn't I?

Aha! I bet it's Beach babe. You definitely knew her. And probably owned at least half of her house.Dadaist wrote:

And the reason i'm so sure it's not me is that i've never had a (oh, must take a moment to salute the capitalist patriarchy) "job" in edinburgh other than the very full time one I still have and which doesn't involve co-workers, only "service users". Although we keep meeitng people that used to own our house - except for the ones we bought it from, who ran away to the borders or somewhere leaving us to deal with the Sheriff's officers, police officers and bailiffs who were rather keen to find them...
All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt!
