Congratulations, Nads. You've timed it nicely for maternity leave in the summer months.

Congratulations Nads - Summer's a nice time to have a baby

You'll get to know the Prom intimately at various hours of the day and night.

Enough of your nonsense - get back to the Play Pen!

not having anything at the moment, but at a party last night, had a few(lost count after the third!!!) vodka and lemonades!!!
Isn't it amazing how sometimes one can drink a couple of drinks and be quite tipsy and at other times it takes ages!!! Last night it was the latter for me, felt reasonably with it when we got home again!!!
And now I must say congratulations to Nads.
Hey wouldn't it be a good idea to support Nads through her pregnancy by not having a drink till the baby's born?????!!!!!( ho! ho! ho!)
I will hide behind my computer to avoid the flak that comes back from writing this!!!!
Why be scared????

Lemsip - another victim of manflu. Everyone else has gone to the panto with a big box of chocolates, but don't worry about me, I'll just struggle on here. Sniff.

I'd fake the manflu (slight cold as it's known in us wimmin's world) to get out of going to the Panto too.
Good thinking, Bob.

Dunno though. It is set in Portobello and features daleks. I've moved on to a very nice bottle of rosé, definitely my drink of choice for 2005. Oh, and they saved me half a box of Black Magic. I'm starting to feel much better.

Sure you're not just hallucinating with the fever from the manflu?

Sounds like Mr J may be hallucinating from robotripping rather than from the fever...

Last night I had an Ardbeg and a bottle of Tiger. At the same time. Then I tried to watch Terminator 2 but I couldn't keep my eyes focused and open.

Glass of wine, to celebrate having posted all my cards. OK, I'll have forgotten
someone but they can't be
that important or I'd have remembered them, wouldn't I? And I'm only one day late for guaranteed delivery. Mind you, maybe I ought to have posted the ones for abroad a wee bit earlier than today!
I really enjoy wrapping presents Sandra.

If I ply you with a few bottles from the anticipated delivery, will you do some of mine Santa Marya

So now I know just how unimportant I really am.
I'm not sending any cards this year. Sorry, but I just can't be bothered. I'll buy another goat instead. (Not easy to wrap these goats, are they?)

With pleasure Foxy, though I'm not entirely sure how neat a job I'll do after consuming a 'few bottles'

Don't you have to write to the person you're not sending a card to in order to explain that you're not sending a card because..blah..blah?

Glass of "Chocolate Ruby" from M&S. Fortified wine with choccy flavour - mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
I am smugly celebrating having done all my cards
and my dad's in time [just]. I really enjoyed queuing TWICE at the Post Office

You are such a sweet person.
I wouldn't know my postie or binman from Adam and it wouldn't have crossed my selfish, thoughtless mind to give them pressies.

Sandra, it's not earth shattering, but it is rather nice and warming. A bit Tia Maria-ish. Must have comparison session to myself over the hols as I've got a wee bit of T M left from last year!

You're still sweet.
I don't think any of the messengerial or cleaning staff at my work get pressies from the staff.
Well, not from me anyhow.
