Ah yes, the window display. Froglette absolutely refused to help, on the grounds that a) it was her birthday and b) that she makes enough sacrifices for the sake of Portobello Online. In desperation, I accosted a passing member of the public (cheers Dave) and asked him to give me a hand.

The poster is four feet high and 8 feet long and we had to fit into a gap that was a maximum of 3 feet wide, so it wasn't easy - but where there's a will! I rather suspect, however, that it may turn out to be a bit of a ship in a bottle thing and getting it back out may be rather more difficult, but I'll worry about that in 2 weeks time.

Nothing wrong with a pizza but wouldn't thank you for the anchovies and olives. I like an exciting topping of mushrooms on mine.

Belated Happy Birthday to Marya and Mr E :occasion4:

 I have just recently worked out that Mr E is not Homer (I did originally know this and seem to have forgotten and muddled it all up :confused5: ). So...when I said a few weeks ago that I had been jigging with Homer...I was wrong. Sorry Homer, Marya, Epykat and Mr E. I was jigging with Mr E though...and a very nice jig it was too  :D

Now, I'm sure all that made perfect sense!

I beleive that most people who take Mr E have no idea who they have been jigging with.

HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY FOXY :occasion6: :occasion7: :occasion9:

Another Libran eh? Should have known. According to a site I found we're
Diplomatic and urbane
Romantic and charming
Easygoing and sociable
Idealistic and peaceable
I'd agree with that, wouldn't you Foxy? :D

Virgo Females
... have some superficial standards about the man in your life. You insist that your partner be squeaky clean and practical and goal oriented. Your standards are set quite high and therefore it usually takes you longer to find someone that you feel is worthy to commit to. You do tend to marry late in life and only if the right knight in shining armor comes along. You are an excellent housekeeper, a strict parent and a good companion. You are attractive well into your middle years and often attract more men as you age
Sounds like you're going to be a real goer of an OAP, ecm

You've made all that up, haven't you?

If not, and it's all true, then I look forward to reaching my middle years   .

My sciatica could be a real impediment to being a "goer" however.
