Is it just me?

Post by Bob Jefferson » 30 Aug 2005, 20:18

Can anyone else spot something rather unusual about this photo I took this morning. It is taken from Granton looking across to the Fife coast. It has been cropped and I have adjusted the contrast, but otherwise it has not been altered in any way.

No har on a summer's day? Actually that's probably not the right answer but hasn't the har been conspicuously absent this year?... thankfully. And aren't the nights fair drawing in?

It's so obvious. You must be able to see it!

No clues, and I'm not going to bed until someone else can see it. Then I'm going to start a bidding war between the Sunday Post and the Evening News.

Poppy - you can see it too! :D

The truth is that one of my colleagues spotted it one day. I looked for ages and couldn't see what he was talking about, and then it just sort of jumped out at me.

We are now looking out for other messages and I will report back in due course.

Just got in and am mad that I didn't get a chance to work that one out. Lets pray that Catz doesn't read this thread and resurrect his old game. I got ever so slightly hooked on that one.

It looks a bit like a frog face in the O.
Does anyone else see little faces in the grains of wood. We have pine panelling in the toilet and I have an owl, a yorkshire terrier, a bear and a few other little friends that I constantly look for.

Clearly, there is a continuum of sanity-insanity and some of us are more bonkers than others. I only see messages. Some of you see ducks within messages and a whole menagerie in the wood panelling.

Frankly, I'd keep that to yourself if you want to be taken seriously on this forum.

Speaking of Christmas, I wonder if Bob could arrange for the trees to spell out a Festive greeting and we could have it made into cards..good time for miracles after all

Yes. There wasn't much in it, but their bid of 37 pence came out top on this occasion.

Does it say "Just get to the point and tell people what the message is" by any chance?

If you're not going to tell then lend us a quid and I'll jump a bus along the road and see for myself.

No, I reckon I'll be so suitably underwhelmed that I'll just top myself right there and then.

I think that some sort of photographic evidence might be required here.
