Teachers have to cope with this sort of thing too:

Gervaise Phinn, former schools inspector turned author, recalls the following classroom exchange for Radio 4’s Quote, Unquote. At a school in Lancashire, a girl told her teacher: “My mum says I’m not to be known as Jenny Wilkinson any more what with my dad going off. She’s got a new boyfriend now.â€Â

Councillor Aitken has obviously got on the wrong side of Mr Duffy-King....who is of course very computer literate.

I'm puzzled by the topic here - what do teachers think...about what?
About Ewan Aitken's statement that he is not internet literate? He's not a teacher either - what's the relevance?
All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt!

Didn't the rev Aitken have a trip to California a couple of years ago, on a fact finding mission relating to computers in the classroom? did he learn anything?
Think this little jaunt cost around £8K

The Rev Aitken is CEC's Head of Education. As a rev. he is a teacher.

My son's Cub Pack attended a service given by the rev. Aitken a few years ago, a great service and the kids enjoyed it..Rev aitken is a good preacher - but he should stick to preaching the Gospel
