Well, I thought I'd really push the boat out this year. I thought I would start the day with a power walk to school and back, cancel the gym because I've got a cold and feel crap, look after youngest, do a bit of housework, powerwalk back to school and back at lunchtime, celebrate with the bread and butter youngest didn't eat before nursery, make a cup of tea, do a bit more housework, procrastinate by logging onto POL, avoid the studying I should be doing because my brain is mush... Then shortly, I'm going to powerwalk to school to pick up youngest, hang around there for half an hour waiting for eldest, race back down the road, throw them at babysitter, run to bus stop, jump on 26 (well, step sedately) into town for a 4.15 appointment, leave appointment at 5.15 to run from there to college, where I'm going to try and learn something for three hours, after which I'm going to scrounge a life home and collapse in a heap. Oh, and I don't have time for dinner in all of that.Porty wrote: How are you celebrating the two of you?
Sound like fun?
I was apparently going to be whisked off somewhere fancy for dinner tomnorrow instead, but now that we both have colds that's postponed too. I think if you're having an expensive meal it's better to be able to taste it!
Birthdays. Woohoo.
All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt!

(this site's saving me loads on birthday cards!)
Thank you Porty. I'm getting more senior by the minute. Maybe we should log everyone's ages to see what the demographic profile of this forum really is!
I have nothing to say and I'm going to say it.
I think we did that already and from memory 35-45 age group was best represented. Since then we have at least one new granny, which makes at least two grannies who are still regular.rathbone wrote: Maybe we should log everyone's ages to see what the demographic profile of this forum really is!
Mind you being a grandparent is no surefired indication of age. If this was a Welsh or Dundonian community site for under 40's chances are most users would be grandparents.
