Amazing pictures of skies, Wangi. Reminds me of when I had time to lie back and watch the clouds going by - must make time for that again - perhaps when the sun is shining and a bit warmer

It's owned and run by a man called John, a local artist. Really nice guy and good framer. There is a picture framing business recommended to me as being reasonable behind the Brunton Hall. I've used them once so far.

We had our annual trip to winter wonderland on Monday (later than anticipated - was supposed to be Boxing Day with grandfather, and then NY Day with my brother and family but poured with rain so we went to the zoo instead - don't ask
) and the ice was melting so they had to sweep off the water - I'm told they always do this in the afternoon anyway, but it really was mild that day and people were trying to skate through huge puddles of water!

All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt!

Sorry about the size - but the smaller version looks rubbish (due to the JPEG compression):

Recently I've taken a lot of B&W shots (here are some from a Catz sat image inspired walk on Saturday) and decay... So it's a good change to have a splash of colour!
And here's one from windy Sunday:
