Here's this week's chart rundown. No change in the Top 10 as Bob holds off Porty's challenge in the race towards 1000 posts. Elsewhere, Marya and ecm go potty (again), Gemini becomes portyobsessed and DG is now veryimporty.

1. Bob 942 (892)
2. Porty 883 (818)
3. Marya 553 (493)
4. ecm 515 (454)
5. Bellybabe 465 (453)
6. Alex 404 (404)
7. wangi 392 (368)
8. Epykat 370 (354)
9. Dadaist 284 (272)
10.Jay 240 (204)

So, number of posts last week for the top ten:

1. 50
2. 65
3. 60
4. 21
5. 12
6. 0
7. 24
8. 16
9. 12
10. 36

It makes Jay look unstoppable, and shows what it takes to stay in the top 3. But really, it's not the number but the content of your posts. Is Alex on holiday or something? Can someone at least check that there's not a pile of milk and newspapers on his doorstep?

5. Bellybabe - 5.70, 0.91
6. Epykat - 4.91, 1.33
7. wangi - 4.84, 2.81
8. Dadaist - 3.78, 2.93
9. Jay - 3.41, 0.59

The top ten posters have contributed 61.47% of the total number of posts. In terms of posting rate, Porty is an a class of his own with Bob down in 5th position.

Davie, we are only halfway thru your first day and you have 17 posts. You will make the Top Ten in about 17 days if you keep that up. The only think I would say that anyone who posts here more than once a day wants their head looked.

So now we have Davie Bhoy and Porty Boy. Are the same thing?
What's the female equivalent I wonder. Girlie sounds a bit patronising

 Oh no! I can't be on this list. I was just asked this morning if I was on the top 10 list and replied 'I'm not that geeky' (no offence intended to anyone :-# ) but I see that just when I thought I really did have a life ... I am actually heading in the direction of not :hiding:

This may be my last ever post :(

lol DG

you were very quick to say that you weren't in the top 10 (I was asking questions to try to work out who was spladooshing us). In fact, you looked almost as embarrassed as Dada when you were reassuring me that you weren't amongst the elite

I'm sure 'geek' was the term I used (again, no offence intended :^o )

Foxy, caused me to revive this one as it seems to have fallen by the way side recently.

The Top 10 on POL is I believe split evenly between male and female but the Top 20 contains 13 females.

Sorry Epykat I intended to finish that post but got distracted by work!
I meant to go on and say that the gender mix on POL , in terms of top posters, is not the norm, in my limited knowledge. I think its good and healthy.
