Paxe- any problem is not the "crap you got" it is the crap you came up with.

You suggetsed an "ideal" location, which, fails on every key criteria. And when you were challenged, did you come up with anything factual to indicate the site met the required criteria- no.

The debate has been going on for six years, you should not expect fatally flawed suggestions to pass without comment.

In concept, the BigW site is appealing. The same concept can be applied to land reclamation or reuse of green space in the Forth. Many cities have done this for schooling over the years (pic attached) - also promotes sailing, swimming and general health and enterprise, through a keen eye for tradables.

Is that the island from Battle Royale? Even I would find that a bit extreme.

Porty, the "crap (wot) I got" was uncalled for. Apart from anything else, it wasn't even my suggestion. I pinched it off somebody on the Evening News site. You should have a look.

It was a wee joke. I shouldn't assume that everyone has seen the film that I was referring to. Thanks for correcting me though.

Actually, I have seen the film, but from your post it just looked like you didn't know it was Alcatraz island, that's all
