PORTOBELLO MARKET, SATURDAY 1st JUNE

Has summer finally arrived? It's certainly trying hard. You can be assured of a sunny welcome at the Portobello Market whatever the weather.

This month we have all our loyal are regular traders plus a few new craft businesses, 26 traders in all, including: arts & crafts, breads and pastries, herbal teas, fruit and veg, organic meats, handmade soaps, garden furniture and plants, natural remedies, handmade sweets, artisan cheeses and jewellery, tasty barbecue snacks and a stall of healthy treats just for dogs too.

Gasp! so much variety! Check the PEDAL website for a full list of all stallholders for June:

There's live music by a new set of musicians this month from Scot's Music Band, and Annie D will be there with face painting for the kids from around 11am.

So, come along between 9.30am and 1.30pm in Brighton Park and enjoy the fun.

And from 1pm to 3pm, there's a Jumble Sale run by Portobello Guides, so for all you dedicated Jumble Fans, it's in the Old Parish Church Halls in Bellfield Street. The girls would love to see you all.
