Im Back

Post by CatzVP » 20 Dec 2004, 14:05

Well Christmas is nearly here and its a windchill of -37 C.... I spent an hour at 5 am cleaning the inside of the car where a can of diet pepsi had exploded with the cold and set of the alarm! and scraping the inch of ice from all the windows.... and its only going to get colder!!!! I guess T-shirt weather is over!

Image

At least it will be a White Christmas, well it snows here from November until the start of April!

And beer does chill very quickly when left on the deck in the snow

Welcome back!

I won't complain too much about the cold over here now that I read what you're up against!

We might be on for a bit of snow this week. Trouble is that it usually turns to sludge pretty quickly.
You could always post a piccie of your winter wonderland for us.

Catz,

Health and safety in the workplace is a very serious issue - look at what might have happened to you and hundreds of others if it hadn't been for that "terrible" video!

Some of them could have been the Keeper of the Registers by now if they'd only paid attention.

and Foxy you will not believe what the reason why I've been missing, its pretty incredible actually, the sort of thing you normally discuss round the fireplace with a brandy on a dark winter night, you will fall on your backside in amazement and shock, and probably tell the story in years to come to your grandkids and great grandkids, its got everything that a best selling book has and more, my wife still cant believe it, well what happened was............oh... there goes the doorbell, I will have to tell you at a later date

You need to get some Readybrek or porrige to add to your impressive collection, Catz.
That'll keep the cold out a bit.

I seriously couldn't cope with that degree of choice in the morning - it would freak me out too much.

Nice to hear from you again Catz. Notice you haven't got Maple Syrup flavoured Shreddies in your collection. I love them but you can't get them over here
BTW did you not have your car plugged in to keep it warm?

So one of Porty's business ventures involves getting romantically inclined couples to become tied to each other for a quarter of a century, and the other is a dating agency!
