...and hope that the tool has been properly tested, and doesn't either create a spiders web of new child of child of threads, or delete the whole forum?

that's not a joke on you, wangi, more a bitter memory of our former colleague AC (now in Chile) whose code_to_html tool deleted my source.....

Aye that would be ideal Wangi but I haven't got my super powers on the Mod board so can't do a dry run with the new tool....no comments please Porty!....and there are no instructions on how to use it either.

Sorry, John I would move your post to the Portobello Matters board and the Pitz thread there, but in case I end up deleting it it will have to remain here meantime , until someone else can move it for me

The new forum seems to be working a treat. The seriousness policy appears to be panning out the way I thought it would too.

I'll have a go - to be honest never gave the new mod that much testing!
