Bob, the T-shirt Promo has gone well, What about a PoL bumper sticker, with the PoL website address on it, that way every time you drive.... you advertise!

I also no longer have a bumper, thanks to an as yet uncaught b astard last year. Still, I only rage intermittently about it now. Arnold Clark and I are getting on quite well.
Good idea though!

Ah yes - I know a man who does.

I'm not sure if he would like me sticking things on it though.

Mr M,
Quick reminder - the gas and air is supposed to be there for MRS M. Make sure you leave her some.

Unless I'm mistaken she'll be toddling off to nursery soon. I'm just hanging on the telephone.

Catz, I never got back to you on this. Yes, I think it's a great idea. We don't have bumper stickers in the UK but we do have rear-window stickers. We need to look at ways of raisng money to help promote the site. For example, I would like to get some new business cards printed with the new URL but as of right now we have exactly £0:00.

What many people probably don't realise is that we haven't even officially launched yet, because I'm still not happy with the website. As we get closer to that point we can start looking at grant funding and other means of raising money. In the meantime it's about doing what we can to help raise the profile of Portobello Online, while slowly building a community website that we can all be proud of.

When I started out on this project I told those assembled that I wanted to produce something that would win awards. Most of those people have now fallen by the wayside, but that's still my aim and I'm too stubborn or stupid to know when to give up.
