Bush- Will he get re-elected?

I have not been following the race closely but I believe support for W is waning. I truly hope so.

Well, he didn't win last time, but that didn't seem to make any difference - he was still made president! If there's any justice in the world...no, i can't even finish that sentence...

I feel truly sorry for the American people - what a hellish choice.

Must admit it seems to be a closer contest than I thought it'd be. Hope they get a better turn out at the polls than we did!

Looks like there will be a huge increase in turnout. Its incredible that in this day and age, in the supposed world leadng democracy, that people have to queue for 5 hours to vote.

I had an interesting conversation with a fairly senior UN staff member in NYC. They said that the UN were unofficially approached, by a US senate member, to invite a team of election inspectors to oversee the US elections!!

I hope so too, but think that people are going to vote for someone they seem to trust to keep them safe 8-[ . I hope the Guardian 'campaign' to write to undecided voters doesn't add to the Bush count too much. I wasn't sure if I was more alarmed or amused by the replies!

I think the result in Florida is going to be the most interesting. It is where Bush fixed it the last time (with the help of his Governor brother). Kerry only needs a swing of 0.00009% to take the State. How close is that!

I didn't know whether to laugh or cry at the second Presidential debate, when Bush was asked..."Now that the U.S.A. police's the world....". Surely the US being the world police without any say from any other country is little more than a Bush Dictatorship. He has got to remember he is only a US president not a World President!

It's so depressing.
I don't think Kerry would have been all that much better, but even marginally better is better. Four more years of withdrawing money from HIV charities that advocate saving lives, of trying to force women back into the kitchen, barefoot and pregnant, of stamping out sexual freedom, of further marginalising any race that's not white in the USA, of increasing unemployment there and slashing welfare, of starting wars with people he's not keen on, and of killing millions of innocent people worldwide.

But let's look on the bright side. Erm...I can't think of one off hand.

I was watching a tv program called EXN (its like a Canadian Tomorrows World) and they had a few troubling things to say about the American Electronic Voting System....Sorry about the quality of Video...I had to compress it as much as possible when converting... (using Divx codec 5.1.1)

Click the link below to get to the download page

each file is 5mb and runs for about 4 mins ....(compressed or what!!)
will run on DivX Player (a windows based video player) and probably most other players..... Makes you wonder if Dubya really won or not.....just like last time....mind you he's in, so what can you do!! :x

any probs give me a shout
