seashells and jellyfish

Post by beachdog » 23 Jan 2012, 00:41

Hi, I'm new to Talk Porty although I have been looking through the window for some time now and enjoying the antics that go on - my God some of you get heated don't you :D Anyway I thought I'd start of with something light but very important ...........Whats happened to all the seashells and jellyfish that used to be washed up on the beach when I was younger, there were gigantic red jellyfish and loads of shells that you could make ornaments out of for your mum at Christmas. Now there is hardly anything ,and what is there is eitherbroken little shells or little white jellyfish. Has anyone got an answer ???

Maybe it's global warming or climate change? Perhaps when they dredged the sand up they changed the way the tide comes in. Actually....I don't know :D

Maybe your right Epy. Its probably best that the Seashells have nearly gone , as they can be jaggy little B*****s that get right up your toes.
