Places to stay in Portobello

Post by Gedge » 19 Jan 2012, 18:19

Mother of a friend of mine is coming to Portobello for a few weeks later this year - their flat is too small for her to stay for that long. Can anyone recommend any of the guest houses? Or does anyone know of someone who would like to have a short term lodger?

We've had relatives stay at the Robert Burns Guesthouse before; no problems.

A friend runs Ardgarth in St Mary's Place, which is very well reviewed.

Otherwise, try this:

We have family from afar who have stayed at most of the local B&Bs and hotels over the years.
Ardgarth certainly got good reviews when they stayed there.
Kings Manor also - had some v good prices for this time of year and you get the leisure facilities too.
Rockville wasnt too bad either.
