I've got a custom Google News RSS feed set up which alerts about all news Portobello... And i've got the exceptions pretty well specified too - I know I don't want the mushrooms and the London market...
But stuff unrelated gets through anyway...
Who knew that while in Christchurch they are facing the aftermath of an earthquake, but down in Otago and Portobello you've got roads closed and powerlines down to due to weather...
And Portobello Drive in Columbus Ohio was just to an emergency landing of a police helicopter - imagine that at the crossroads...
And I'm intrigued by Portobello SA ceramic tiles too... And Ruth Rendell's latest book - nah.
