Well that's a surprise - a Westminster election on May 6.

And the SNP kicked off their campaign in Porty:

Surely if the SNP were on about the Declaration of Arbroath they should have gone to Arbroath to kick their campaign off, waving a few smelly kippers in the air no doubt.

I think that would be appropriate, I went to Westminster when I was a youngster and was amazed at the number of old guys (MP's) sprawled across the benches having a nap.

There was one young dapper looking chap, wonder who that was????
