After being ill for a while my dad finally succumbed to cancer just before New Year.
His funeral was yesterday and, as they say, he had a "good turn out" in spite of the weather.
It was a nice secular service organised by some of dad's long tem pals.
I'd like to thank them and all those who attended.

By the way, he got his long term wish and had "Sunshine on Leith" played as the coffin came in and the Thompson Twins " Doctor , Doctor " as his exit music.

Sorry to hear about your Dad, SoupD. It's not been an easy time for you lately, so let's hope the rest of 2010 goes well in the Soup World.
