BBC news website today: A man who caused traffic chaos after climbing almost 400 feet up the Forth Road Bridge has been jailed.

Bit harsh I thought. He needs help not jail. He'd have got less for mugging an old lady.

The emphasis seems to be on the traffic disruption caused, in which case TIE and the Kings Road lot should be sitting in a Saughton cell right now!

Hi Izzie, nice to have you back.

You could argue that most people in jail need some sort of treatment, whether it's for drug addiction or depression or anger management or a whole host of personality disorders. Of course there are people who need to be detained for the protection of society, but I doubt that Ross is one of them or that he will benefit in any way from his incarceration.
