That is really cool. Could have done with something like that when my dad was a Docker- kept an eye on him.

When it says; Name of Ship Uk 0.1 knots/117

What do the last 3 digits signify?

I've been using this to check up on the ships we see at work..haven't checked to see much difference between the sites.

I think the three digits indicate the compass direction of the ship.

As Poppy said I think the last digits indicate bearing; how many degrees from North, which is zero.
