Much the same as you, jamesie - dont miss many at home but only get away as finances / mrs magnolia / daughters / moving house allow....
Most recent away outings were Holland, Germany and Belgium - not a good track record! Normally tavel with my brother but failed to convince him he wanted a trip to Moldova in October so we're saving the pennies for Italy and Slovenia next year.
Haven't really been to any domestic league/cup matches since Meadowbank waltzed off to Livingstone. (In fact, I've barely been to a domestic match since the hugely enjoyable trip to Italia 90, so I cant really use that as an excuse)
But watching the boys in blue losing beats the gloom of the Hibs/Hearts/Old Firm discussions that look as though they may flare up on the rugby thread...

My home team. I'm from Gretna originally and I had a season ticket for CUFC from the age of 10 until I moved to Edinburgh in 76. It was a golden era for the Blues. They played some very attractive football in the old Second Division and had some great players.Half of my family are Carlisle United fans but at least they live there! What's your excuse?
Alan Ross, John Gorman, Stan Ternent, George McVitie, Stan Bowles, Chris Balderstone, Hughie McIllmoyle, Bob Hatton. Shall I continue?
And then of course promotion to the top flight. Bill Green scores the first goal of the season in 106 seconds at Stamford Bridge and after 4 games we are TOP OF THE LEAGUE!
Of course it's been pretty much downhill ever since, but we won't dwell on that. I was at the last home game of the season when we lost a late goal and our place in the football league. I was there with my dad who had taken me to my very first game at Brunton Park. End of an era and all that.

Banff and MacDuff are playing a football match. The Banff supporters stand by the edge of the pitch, chanting "B-A-N-F-F, Banff, Banff, Banff!!!". The Banff squad, bolstered by their energetic support, edge into the lead, after 85 minutes of closely fought football. The MacDuff supporters decide to set up a rival chant, hoping to spur their team back into the lead: "Capital M - Small A - Small C - Capital D... oh what the hey, we support Banff too!!!"
