Career neds

From the front cover of todays evening news. A young man some people may recognise as he lives in Porty.....Lewis Scott, 17. One of the EYT causing trouble up Princes Street way. In this article a group including him tell of their drug dealing business enterprise and brag about the violence they are involved in.

Despite boasting about their violent behaviour and selling drugs on Princes Street, the teenagers bizarrely complain about the attention they are receiving from the police.

Lewis Scott, 17, who lives with his grandparents in Portobello while his dad serves a prison sentence for assault, says: "All the bother we get from police is ruining our nights out. The security cameras are always watching us while we are there. You can see the cameras moving to follow us."
Poor things. An infringement of their human rights, surely?

Sadly , Epy, the effects of their behaviour are felt down here.
It was Clanger 3's pal whose jaw was broken in Hunter Square, that upset her a bit.

Was speaking to Mikey Annis the other day who was part of the featured article. He was saying that they got £400 for their time that allowed the evening news a couple of article. £400 for an interview, not bad.
