It has happened to me a few times: I've had some flattering, some devastating and some truly baffling. Al Capone, Gordon Brown and D'arcy Bushell but not necessarily in that order. A few others too.
What about you?

I'm frequently mistaken for a taxi driver or ATM mostly by the Clangers.
D'arcy Bushell?? you mean Darcey Bussell the slim elegant dancer?
or Gary Bushell?

D'arcy Bushell? Maybe you should give up wearing a tutu Porty?
It is the resemblance to Al Capone that worries me; he died in 1947 so will be well decomposed by now!
When younger I was mistaken for Chris Evert, though now I get Fern Britton (pre-gastric band alas!

)
I've a friend who has been mistaken for Kylie Minogue.

Porty - You forgot about the time we were in George Street for a drink and you got mistaken for Robert De Niro. Infact she was so taken by the likeness she bought you a drink!
