I met a little girl, and I settled down, in a little house
out on the edge of town. At first I thought it was just restlisness , that would fade as time went by and our love grew deep. ....In the end it was something more I guess that tore us apart and made us weak.
I'm driving a stolen car, down on eldridge avenue, at night I wait to get caught but I never do. So I drive by night and I travel in fear, within this darkness i must disappear.

accept my apologies, Here's some more:
Oh, oh I, I would rather feel the hurt inside. than the loneliness a heart must hide, yes i would darling, yes i would darling, yes I would baby....................................
I know Bruce is an acquired taste , i discuss the shows with newbies all the time, they ask me: why are you gong two nights in a row? I refrain from informing them that many people go to 30 or 40 shows in a row,
It took me a long time to form a credible answer to that question. I used to say that the 30, yes 30, songs they do are different each night, so you are not seeing the same show. Now I say, If you are not a genuine fan, just a now and again listener, come along. You will stand there, some songs you will know, others you won't. You may feel bored half way through and not really get it.
If you have an open mind you can watch the tens of thousands wave their hands in the air, couples kiss and embrace, strangers dance and embrace,
they all sing along. The greatest show on earth is an accolade that is cheapened by over use. E Street and the Boss is the real deal, no recorded back up, no tapes, no dancers just 7 middle to old- aged men delivering the sound straight to your heart, via your brain.
My mum wasn't that keen on what she heard, thinking it was a guy that couldn't sing, (he is not a natural)backed by a noisy band.
One song live and she got the message. You can go to the Lion King, Mamma Mia, Neil Young or whoever. I've been to those and to many more. Nothing comes close.
This could well be the last tour for the e street band. The fathers and sons are going to Barsa on the basis that it is. We will no doubt behave accordingly.

Did you see Amy MacDonald sing 'Dancing in the Dark' at T in the Park? I thought it was pretty good.
I'm very envious of your trip this weekend.
