Have you ever tried introducing or substituting

an L into the odd word or two, on a random basis?

You will be surplised how much fun it can be. It definitely causes confusion amongst those you are holding a conversation with, particularly over the telephone.

One of my favourites is blurgled. I think it works so well because if one is talking about burglary then it is usually a serious matter. People assume you can't be making fun in such a serious situation and are a bit embarrassed to say anything in case you have a speech implediment.

Try it out -its fun but not too often.
