Seems I only come on here to ask for help! Anyhoo, I have a problem. I'm the lease holder of this flat & got a leaking pipe in the bathroom which for the last two hours has been dripping into the downstairs flat.
I already had a plumber for this leak in the new year, he put an invoice through the door. Two weeks later it starts leaking again, can I trace him, nope. No number on the invoice, he's not in the phone book, no advert online that I got him from in the first place.
I can't get anyone to come out because I don't own the place, it'll be done through the house insurance, so will take time to proccess. I'm in touch with the owner (who's fab & will fix any problem). But they're now on the other side of the world travelling so it's e-mails, as & when they can reply.
I'm at a loss what to do...
I need a plumber... asap.

Not sure about plumbers as we're looking for one too.
But if the water is still dripping to your downstairs neighbour you could always switch off at the mains and drain your tank ( if you have one ) until a plumber can be found. Means filling up buckets, kettles etc
Some DIY places do a sort of bandage thing to wrap round leaking pipes

Pipe Clamp.
That was what i was trying to remember.
If the leaking pipe is caused by a hole in the pipe, rather than than a joint you can buy a clamp to hold it.
