Lorry rescues car trapped on beach only to get stranded too
IT is implausible enough for one car to get stuck on a beach against a rapidly rising tide.
But residents in Portobello were astounded when a recovery lorry found itself stuck in the sand – just moments after helping a stranded motorist to safety.

Especially when it's buggers with jetskis who shouldn't be on the beach anyway...The rapidly rising tide bit is wrong too, but never mind - by the time the recovery truck was rescued the tide was going out and it wasn't a high tide. Miles of sand to play on.
